Logan Paul has extended an invitation to Conor McGregor, urging him to back his confidence in teammate Dillon Danis by making a substantial monetary wager on Danis’ potential victory over Paul in a boxing match.

Towards the end of the previous month, news broke about Paul’s imminent comeback to the boxing arena after a hiatus of over two years. Just recently, the 28-year-old reaffirmed his plans, revealing that he is set to face off against Danis in the latter’s inaugural foray into the world of boxing.

Logan Paul challenges McGregor for a bet

Commencing his journey in combat sports as a grappler, Danis ventured into the MMA realm with a couple of Bellator appearances. However, it’s his connection with McGregor and a tendency to arrange fights that ultimately fall through that have garnered him the most recognition within the MMA community.

During the recent Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius event, “The Notorious” expressed unwavering faith in Danis’ potential triumph on October 14. In response, Paul has thrown down the gauntlet, proposing a $1 million bet to the former two-division UFC champion.

“If you’re so confident in your boy, I got a bet for you. I’d bet Dillon, but he’s a broke b***h. I got $1 million that says I beat your boy on October 14th…Let’s see how confident you are, imagine all the c**e you can buy you f***ing drug addict. Two dummies, one night, October 14th I’m f***ing you both up.” – Paul said.

Dillon Danis has been missing from action

Since his victory against Max Humphrey at Bellator 222, Danis has remained absent from competition. His history of announcing fights only to withdraw from them reportedly prompted Paul to incorporate a stipulation in the contract. This clause entails a substantial financial penalty, potentially in the six-figure range, should Danis fail to make his appearance on October 14.

McGregor has engaged in some online banter with Jake Paul, Logan’s sibling, following “Problem Child’s” victory over Nate Diaz in a boxing match. As McGregor remains occupied with a range of activities, seemingly avoiding confirming his return to the UFC, it’s uncertain whether “The Notorious” will react to Logan’s offer.
