Upon his entrance into the UFC, Khamzat Chimaev swiftly earned the reputation as one of the most intimidating fighters in the organization. His sheer power and dominance in the Welterweight division left opponents hesitant to step into the octagon with him. Unwaveringly, Chimaev has emerged victorious in all of his bouts to date.

However, Khamzat Chimaev is known for his unruly nature, often disregarding rules and causing disruptions wherever he goes. While not widely publicized, Dana White, being well-acquainted with Chimaev’s behavior, made the decision to grant him an extended break from fights following his recent controversial actions. Those familiar with Dana White understand that there are certain things he simply cannot overlook or forgive with the passage of time.

Dana White doesn’t entertain troublemakers in the UFC

Endangering the business is one of Dana White’s utmost despairs when it comes to fighters. As the head of the vast UFC organization, he shoulders significant responsibilities. It is often overlooked by fighters that failing to attract sufficient viewership for each event could result in job cuts, leaving families without a source of income.

Dana White fears the potential consequences and is unafraid to part ways with any fighter who jeopardizes the stability of the organization. When Francis Ngannou made excessive demands, White considered them excessive and swiftly released him from his contract. While Khamzat Chimaev’s actions were not as severe, they did result in him being granted a hiatus from competition as a consequence.

Khamzat Chimaev trolled for his hiatus

Khamzat Chimaev has become the target of online trolls due to his prolonged absence from the octagon, with relentless jabs and taunts being hurled his way. Various theories have emerged regarding his absence, but Dana White is steadfast in his opposition to fighters who deviate from his plans. The UFC President has expressed his desire for Chimaev to compete in the Middleweight division, while Chimaev himself prefers to remain in the Welterweight division despite concerns about his size.

During UFC 279, Khamzat Chimaev’s weight miss by nearly 8 pounds created havoc just hours before the event. Fortunately, Kevin Holland stepped up to face him, and Chimaev showcased his dominance. However, had the outcome been different, Dana White might have promptly terminated his contract. Chimaev must adhere to the UFC’s expectations, or he risks being released. Consequently, speculations about his absence may also involve conspiracy theories aligned with the script.
