Dana White confidently asserts that Mark Zuckerberg is eager to step into the UFC octagon, and surprisingly, he’s open to turning the Meta CEO’s aspiration into a tangible endeavor. Speaking with Harvey and Charles on “TMZ Live,” White offered a preview of the upcoming UFC 292 event.
Yet, before diving into the Sean O’Malley vs. Aljamain Sterling match, he shared insights into the unsuccessful attempt at arranging a fight between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.

According to White, both individuals displayed genuine intent for a showdown. However, when Elon leaned towards a more casual approach for the match, Zuckerberg chose to step back from the idea.
“He and I talk multiple times a week,” White said of Zuckerberg. “And we had dinner last Monday. He’s very serious about competing. And when he mentioned it, he said — listen — what he was saying in response to Elon was there are tons of professional organizations out there and this is the way this should be done, not in some backyard or whatever Elon was saying.”
He further mentioned that Zuckerberg comprehended the necessity for the fight to undergo official sanctioning by an athletic commission, along with the requirements for appropriate medical and drug testing. When it appeared that Elon didn’t fully grasp these prerequisites, Zuckerberg decided to shift his stance.
Regarding Zuckerberg’s next move, White informed the hosts that he believes “he’s definitely intrigued” by the idea of going head-to-head with a UFC fighter within White’s organization. Dana expressed that there’s potential for him to facilitate this scenario.
In the meantime, White is currently in Boston, preparing for an exciting showdown on Saturday evening featuring O’Malley and Sterling.
He informed the hosts that he anticipates an exhilarating clash and suggested that if O’Malley emerges victorious, it could propel him into the realm of superstardom.
