In an unexpected twist, Conor McGregor has issued a challenge for a bareknuckle boxing showdown with KSI, the renowned YouTuber-turned-boxing sensation. McGregor’s unusual callout came immediately following the Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius bout on August 13 in London.
After extending congratulations to Joshua for his impressive victory, McGregor took a moment to acknowledge the crowd’s appreciation for Helenius’ noteworthy performance as a last-minute replacement. However, in a surprising twist, McGregor shifted his focus to the presence of KSI, who happened to be among the spectators:
“I know your man KSI is in the crowd, yeah? And he couldn’t box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory,” McGregor exclaimed. “So if he wants to get in here, I’ll give him a final — bareknuckle,” McGregor stumbled on his words.”— if he wants.”

On August 13, KSI swiftly responded on Twitter, seizing McGregor’s callout as a golden chance to taunt his perennial adversary, Jake Paul:
