At the 2022 Jasmin Open, Andreeva made her WTA Tour debut in the main draw after being granted a wildcard for the singles competition. In addition, Andreeva is just the second 15-year-old to triumph over a Top 50 foe at a WTA 1000 tournament; Bellis did so in 2015.

She then defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia, the 13th seed, for her first top-20 victory to advance to the third round, making her the seventh player under the age of 16 to do so since 2000. She defeated top-20 player and 17th seed Magda Linette on her 16th birthday to earn her 16th professional victory and advance to the round of 16.
