Croatian star Marin Cilic will participate in the Tata Open Maharashtra after making it to the semifinals in 2018.
Action is scheduled to be played at the 2023 Tata Open Maharashtra on outdoor hard courts. The only ATP tournament held in India will be held in Pune, India, from January 2 to January 8, 2023, and it will be the 27th edition. It is the only ATP Tour event in South Asia and an ATP 250 competition. After being absent for four years, Croatian star Marin Cilic will participate in the Tata Open Maharashtra after making it to the semifinals in 2018. Cilic, a former World No. 3, has won the competition twice before, in 2009 and 2010, both times it was held in Chennai. He achieved his first semifinal appearance at the 2022 French Open earlier this year, eight years after winning the US Open in 2014.
The Tata Open Maharashtra set to begin on January 2 and end on January 7. There will be five rounds of play excluding the qualifiers. The qualifying matches will take place on December 31 and January 1. Here is the tentative schedule of the second singles competitive tennis tournament of the new season.
