Here is the schedule and live streaming details of the British Open 2022.
The British Open 2022, officially known as the Cazoo British Open 2022, is a professional snooker competition hosted in the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, England, from September 26 to October 2, 2022. It is run by the World Snooker Tour and sponsored by the automotive dealer Cazoo. It is the third ranking competition of the 2022–2023 snooker season.
The tournament’s qualifying rounds were held at the Robin Park Arena and Sports Center in Wigan from August 9–14, 2022, but the qualifiers comprising the top 16 snooker players in the world rankings were postponed and played at the Marshall Arena. Mark Williams was the reigning champion, having defeated Gary Wilson 6-4 in the 2021 final.
The British Open will be played in best-of-seven frames through the last 16 matches, which is a minor change from 2021. The quarter finals will consist of nine frames, the semifinals will include eleven frames, and the final will comprise nineteen frames. After the second round, the draw is open, giving a top player the opportunity to face another top player before the competition’s final stages.
