Sushil Kumar, who is currently in nine days of judicial custody for the alleged murder of 23-year-old Sagar Rana has filed an application demanding protein-rich food along with supplements. His plea requests for him to be given this diet till the time he is in jail, a report by Republic said.

“The false Implication should not lead to end his career and in order to continue his career, he seeks permission of this Court for special food and supplements,” added Sushil Kumar’s application which was submitted to the court.

The application lists out the wrestler’s detailed diet and seeks permission from the court for special food and supplements. As per the application, Sushil Kumar consumes supplements like isolate whey protein, Omega 3 Capsules, Jointment Capsules, Pre-Workout C4 and Hyde, Multivitamin GNC, Exercises Bands, etc.

The application also said that being a wrestler, it is necessary for the Olympic medallist to take a special nutrition diet. “Denial of this basic requirement will have huge implication on career,” said Sushil Kumar’s plea.

Dhankar was the son of a Delhi Police constable and trained at the stadium. On May 4 at midnight, a brawl between him and a few men including Kumar took place in Chhatrasal Stadium. Sagar died on May 5 because of the injuries he sustained in the brawl.

Wrestler Sagar died and two of his friends sustained injuries after they were allegedly assaulted by Kumar and others.
