Shooting is a vastly popular sport in India. India has produced some great shooters like Abhinav Bindra, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Gagan Narang, and Vijay Kumar who have brought laurels to the nation at the Olympic Games. Currently, Anjum Moudgil, Mairaj Ahmed Khan, Manu Bhaker, and Saurabh Chaudhary are some of the leading shooters in India. India has been a very dominant force in international competitions like ISSF World Cup, World Championships, etc. As a result of which, the country is regarded as one of the powerhouse countries in Shooting lately.
Shooting is among the sports which are going to feature in the National Games 2022. The shooting events will start on September 27 and continue till October 7. A lot of experienced and budding talents will be eager to leave a lasting impact on the tournament. However, many top Shotgun shooters of the country won’t be participating in the games due to the National Games clashing with the World Shotgun Championships 2022.
The LIVE Streaming of the National Games 2022 will be broadcast on DD Sports. It will also be telecast on the YouTube Channel of DD Sports, Prasar Bharati Sports.
