India has sent a strong contingent of 665 athletes.
Heading into day 3 of the Asian Games (i.e. September 26), India has already clinched an impressive 11 medals (which includes 2 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze). As a result, India is ranked 5th in the overall medal tally. Additionally, India shattered the shooting record of China in the Men’s team 10 m Air Rifle. Subsequently, the Indian women’s cricket team also won their maiden gold medal in the Asian Games.
