The game between the Vegas Golden Knights and Toronto Maple Leafs will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on Monday, October 24 at 10:00 PM ET.
The Vegas Golden Knights will welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to T-Mobile Arena for an NHL game on Monday. Vegas lost their last game 3-2 to the Colorado Avalanche. Goals from Jonathan Marchessault and Chandler Stephenson were not enough as the Golden Knights were defeated by the defending champions.
Vegas goaltender Logan Thompson said after the game, “They’re a talented hockey club, that’s why they just won the Stanley Cup. It’s slow, rocky right now. This loss stings, but we’re going to go back and build off it, it’s a long season.”
The Toronto Maple Leafs on the other hand beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 in their last game. Two goals from John Tavares and one each from Michael Bunting and David Kampf were enough to see Toronto record a convincing win over the Jets.
Winnipeg defenseman Josh Morrissey appeared to hit Nick Robertson which prompted Morgan Rielly to come to his defense and in the process, confront Morrissey. Speaking on Rielly’s character, John Tavares praised him and said, “Obviously, it speaks a lot of character. Not surprising. He carried himself forward for our group. And then after that we just stayed calm and composed as the temperature of the game really went up there. Scrums were frequent, but we were there standing up for one another and protecting our net.”
