The Vancouver Canucks will welcome the Seattle Kraken to Rogers Arena for an NHL game on Thursday. The Canucks lost 1-5 against the Blues in their last game. Ilya Mikheyev scored for the Canucks, who lost their third straight at home to fall to 5-9-1 on the season. Spencer Martin made 22 saves.
Kyrou scored twice in the third period, giving him six goals in three games and 10 points in the last four. Kyrou put the Blues ahead 4-1 on a power play 1:07 into the third with a shot through traffic. He made it 5-1 with a wrist shot at 9:19.
The Kraken on the other hand won 5-2 against the Blues in their last game. Donato scored in his fourth straight game, Carson Soucy, Daniel Sprong and Jared McCann scored in Seattle’s three-goal second period, and the Kraken beat the St. Louis Blues 5-2 on Tuesday night.
Seattle won consecutive games for the first time in nearly three weeks, snapped the Blues’ four-game win streak and beat St. Louis for the first time in the Kraken’s two seasons. “I think we see when we play the right way, were going to get our chances, and if we capitalize on them it’s hard to beat us,” Donato said.
