The game between the Vancouver Canucks and Arizona Coyotes will take place at Rogers Arena on Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 PM ET.
The Vancouver Canucks will welcome the Arizona Coyotes to Rogers Arena for an NHL game on Saturday. The Canucks lost 1-5 against the Panthers in their last game. Dakota Joshua scored for Vancouver. “How we can play so good in one week and then so bad the next week, it’s pretty mind boggling,” Canucks coach Bruce Boudreau said.
Vancouver also lost starting goalie Thatcher Demko to a lower-body injury. The 26-year-old American stopped 15 of 18 shots in the first period before leaving. “Any time you lose your starter like that — I mean he could barely put weight on his leg — obviously we’re concerned about him,” Canucks captain Bo Horvat said.
The Coyotes on the other hand lost 5-3 against the Flames in their last game. Matias Maccelli had a goal and an assist for Arizona while Christian Fischer and Nick Bjugstad also scored. Patrik Nemeth had a pair of assists. Vejmelka made 27 saves as Arizona dropped to 4-5-2 on its 14-game road trip.
“It’s frustrating when you don’t make the simple play and turn it over. That’s when they come and they score and they win. We just have to tighten up defensively,” Fischer said.
