The game between the St. Louis Blues and Washington Capitals will take place at the Enterprise Center Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 PM ET.
The St. Louis Blues will welcome the Washington Capitals to the Enterprise Centre for an NHL game on Thursday. The Blues picked up a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday. Ryan O’Reilly and Jordan Kyrou each had a goal and an assist, Calle Rosen, Tyler Pitlick and Ivan Barbashev also scored
The win streak for the Blues (7-8-0) comes in the wake of an ugly eight-game slide, when they were outscored 38-12. “We didn’t play well, gave up a lot of goals in that tough stretch,” Barbashev said. “But right now, it feels like it’s getting back to normal.”
Washington Capitals put up a good fight but fell to a tight 5-2 loss against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday. Dylan Strome and John Carlson scored for Washington. Washington went 0-2 on this trip to Florida, getting outscored 10-3 by the Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning.
“Our second was better than the first and our power play had lots of chances but could not get one through,” Washington coach Peter Laviolette said. “We did good things defensively but there were breakdowns when we could have and should have done something.
