The match between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins will take place at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Ottawa Senators will welcome the Boston Bruins to the Canadian Tire Centre for an NHL game on Tuesday. Ottawa lost 3-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs in their last game as goals from Claude Giroux and Shane Pinto were not enough to get the job done. Goaltender Anton Forsberg had a good game as he saved 29 of the 32 shots he was peppered with and finished the game with a save percentage of .906.
Senators captain Brady Tkachuk was unhappy with the result and was clearly distraught. After the game, he said, “For the most part, we played well. But it definitely stings.”
The Boston Bruins on the other hand have won their first three games of the season with their last match ending in a 5-3 win over the Florida Panthers. Jake DeBrusk scored two goals and Patrice Bergeron, Trent Frederic and David Pastrnak added one goal each as the Bruins ran out comfortable winners.
After the game, Jake DeBrusk said, “It was nice to contribute, obviously. That’s the best way to help the team. That early in the game to kind of set the tone, that’s what we all want to do and I was lucky enough to kind of get a lucky one there.”
