The game between the New Jersey Devils and Chicago Blackhawks will take place at Prudential Center on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00 PM ET.
The New Jersey Devils will welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to Prudential Center for an NHL game on Tuesday. The Devils won 2-3 against the Flyers in their last game. Jack Hughes, Dawson Mercer and Fabian Zetterlund scored, and the New Jersey Devils set a club record with their 11th straight road victory, beating the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 on Saturday night.
Miles Wood added two assists for the Devils, who are a win away from tying the NHL record for consecutive road victories. New Jersey lost its first road game of the season, at the Flyers on Oct. 13, and hasn’t dropped one away from home since. The Devils’ next road game is Dec. 12 at the Rangers. “I think that’s a big accomplishment,” Mercer said. “Road games are hard, and to come away with that many it’s a special thing.”
The Blackhawks on the other hand lost 3-0 against the Islanders in their last game. Martin scored his third goal at 8:58 of the middle period. Assists went to Casey Cizikas and Scott Mayfield. The Islanders are 4-1-2 in their last seven contests against the Blackhawks, including a 3-1 win in their last matchup Nov. 1 in Chicago.
Parise made it 2-0 at 14:31 with his eighth goal before Nelson increased the margin to 3-0 at 15:14 with his 12th goal. It was the fourth time this season the Islanders scored twice in less than a minute. “He just plays a consistent game every night,” Islanders coach Lane Lambert said of the 38-year-old Parise, who hasn’t missed a contest in his two seasons with the Islanders and has 12 points this season. “He really helps us with his play.”
