The game between the Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota on Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 PM ET.
The Minnesota Wild will welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Xcel Energy Center for an NHL game on Thursday. Minnesota lost their last game 2-1 to the Nashville Predators. Frederick Gaudreau was the only player for the Wild to get on the scoresheet as none of his teammates were able to get past Juuse Saros in the Nashville goal.
Minnesota coach Dean Evason was disappointed to have lost the game and gave his reason as to why his team lost. Speaking after the game, he said, “We played a real strong hockey game. Their power play scored, ours did not.”
The Pittsburgh Penguins on the other hand lost their last game 5-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell scored the goals for the Penguins as they fell way short during the game and lost by a three goal margin.
Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan said after the game, “I think there’s been moments in some of these games where for whatever reason we get away from and it seems like in those moments the puck ends up in the back of our net.”
