The game between the Minnesota Wild and Montreal Canadiens will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota on Tuesday, November 1 at 8:00 PM ET.
The Minnesota Wild will welcome the Montreal Canadiens to Xcel Energy Center for an NHL game on Tuesday. Minnesota won their last game as they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3. Matt Boldy scored two goals while Mason Shaw added one as the Wild won the game in an epic shootout.
After the game, Minnesota head coach Dean Evason said, “We gave ourselves a chance to do good things and didn’t do enough bad things to let the game slip away,” Evason said. “A hundred wins, it’s great. But just happy to get the two points.”
The Montreal Canadiens on the other hand thrashed the St Louis Blues 7-4 in their last game. Christian Dvorak scored a hattrick and Cole Caufield scored two goals as Montreal made light work of St Louis and in the process recorded their fifth win of the season.
Two goal hero Caufield spoke to the press after the win and said, “We’re never out of a game. I think that’s big for us going forward, that we can always look back on something like this against a good team, know where we’re down to and fight our way back.”
