Dallas Stars will welcome the Minnesota Wild to the American Airlines Center for an NHL preseason game on Thursday. Despite losing their first game 4-0 to the St Louis Blues, Dallas hit back in the last game as they defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 in an eventful match. Mason Marchment scored two goals while Joel Kiviranta and Ryan Shea scored one goal each as Dallas won the game by a single goal. Two goal hero Mason Marchment said after the game, “It was great to be out there with a new team. I’m happy that we came out with the win.”

On the other hand, the Minnesota Wild come into this match after downing defending champions Colorado Avalanche 5-2 in their last preseason game. A brace from Tyson Jost and a goal each from Nic Petan, Brandon Duhaime and Vladislav Firstov overwhelmed the Avalanche. Minnesota head coach Dean Evason said after the game, “I liked a lot of things of a lot of individual players, but mostly we liked our team game.”
