The Carolina Hurricanes will welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning to the PNC Arena for an NHL preseason game on Tuesday. Carolina had a great run last season as they finished on top of the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division with 122 points as they won 58 games and lost 18. Sebastian Aho scored the most goals from the Hurricanes last season with 37 and he also topped the assists charts with 44. Andrei Svechnikov scored the second most goals with 30. Aho finished last season with 81 points.

Tampa Bay Lightning on the other hand went to the finals of the Stanley Cup and lost out to the Colorado Avalanche. Similar to the Hurricanes, the Lightning finished the regular season with 110 points and sat in third place in the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. Captain Steven Stamkos scored the most goals for the Lightning with 42 while Victor Hedman had the most assists with 65. Stamkos finished the season as the Lightning player with most points with 106.
