Patrick Willis is regarded by many as one of the modern greats and one of the best football linebacker ever to grace the National Football League (NFL) and currently retired and played for the San Francisco 49ers. He was born on 25 January,1985 in Bruceton, Tennessee. He played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels football where played from 2003 to 2006. He attended the University of Mississippi. In 2005 during his junior campaign, he led the SEC in total tackles at 12.80 per game and was also named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year by CollegeFootballNews.com and Scout.com.  He was also named as a first-team All-American by College Football News and the All-American Football Foundation. He also earned first-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press, SEC Coaches, CollegeFootballNews.com and Rivals.com. In his last year as a college player, he was awarded the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, the first-team All-SEC and also the consensus first-team All-American. He also won the Jack Lambert Award and the prestigious Dick Butkus Award. He wore the #52 jersey for San Francisco 49ers.

In his freshman season career, he made it to PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2007. He also received the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award in 2007 and also won the NFL tackles leader award in 2007 and 2009. He has made it to the First-team All-Pro 5 times and the Second-team All-Pro two times. He also received the Pro Bowl 7 times and won the Butkus Award as a pro in 2009. He has his name in the history books of the San Francisco 49ers as he was inducted to the Hall of Fame books.

NFL Debut

Patrick Willis was picked up by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2007 NFL Draft in the first round as the 11th overall pick. Willis started his career and his debut season as the starting inside linebacker. In his first match against the Arizona Cardinals, he provided 11 tackles, including 9 solo, and a forced fumble as the 49ers won the match by 20–17 for which he also won the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week Award. He ended his debut season with an NFL-leading 174 total tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and five passes deflected. He got selected for the Pro Bowl and was also named AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, first-team All-Pro, and NFL Alumni Linebacker of the Year.

News surrounding Patrick’s relationship with Shenae is that he has parted ways with her after 2016 and Shenae is now happily settled with someone else while the 49ers Hall of Famer is still single at the moment. Patrick Willis has no kids at the moment.
