The Lakers may have had a disappointing finish in the last season, but they’re still a force to be reckoned with. The team is set to make a serious championship run now that Russell Westbrook has joined their already star-studded team of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. If they want to win the championship, they will need to improve their team dynamics and find a method to stay healthy.
The Brooklyn Nets are another team that’s loaded with talent. With Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving leading the way, the team has one of the most potent offenses in the league. The team was able to acquire Kevin Durant for a fair deal, especially in terms of current assets, and now has the opportunity to pair him up with Devin Booker to form probably the NBA’s most dreadful scoring combination.
The Suns appeared to be formidable in a tiny sample, but Durant’s recent layup-line error will prevent him from practicing with his new colleagues for several weeks. With Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton leading the way, the team have a well-rounded talent pool that’s capable of going toe-to-toe with any team in the league. If they can build on their success from last season and continue to improve, they could be a real threat in the playoffs.
