The Washington Wizards will welcome the New York Knicks to Capital One Arena for an NBA game on Friday. The Wizards won 100-97 in their last game over the Bulls. Kyle Kuzma broke a tie with a 3-pointer with 5.7 seconds left and the Washington Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls 100-97 on Wednesday night. Following a timeout, Kuzma drove to his right and hit a leaning shot as he floated toward the Wizards’ bench.
“I was trying to give myself the best chance to make a play,” Kuzma said. “When I caught the ball, I looked left, a lot of teams are forcing me left. I just had Delon (Wright) get flat a little bit. I knew I had (Alex) Caruso on me and he’s one of the better defenders in the league. Give myself a chance to pick either way instead of being directed in one. … Rose up and shot it and it went in.”
The Knicks on the other hand won 119-113 against the Celtics in their last game. Jaylen Brunson scored 34 points to help the New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 119-113 on Wednesday night. RJ Barrett added 27 points in his return from a finger injury that sidelined him six games, and Julius Randle had 14 points and 16 rebounds.
“I was trying to be aggressive,” Barrett said. “I’ve’ been working, I haven’t just been sitting down. I just wanted to find some sort of rhythm. I’m cool with giving it my all and living with the results.”
