The game of Texas Legends vs Lakeland Magic will take place at Comerica Center (Frisco) on Tuesday, November 22 at 8:00 PM ET.
At the Comerica Center, the Texas Legends defeated the Orlando Magic’s NBA G League club, the Lakeland Magic, 141-133. In the first game of back-to-back away games, the Magic took on the Texas Legends. With the help of forward Tyler Dorsey’s 30-point first half performance on 8-10 three-point shooting, the Texas Legends got off to a fast start.
The Legends performed with a dominating defense in addition to their accurate shooting, snatching the ball 10 times in the first half. At the end of the first half, Lakeland still trailed the Legends 76-55 despite outscoring them 30-14 in the paint.
The Legends maintained a significant advantage for the majority of the game until the Magic had a thrilling finish, outscoring the Legends 41–26. Jay Scrubb and Zavier Simpson both played well, but Lakeland was unable to make up the deficit.
With 25 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, Scrubb led the team in scoring. Simpson recorded a stat line of 24 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. Joel Ayayi contributed with a close to triple-double of 17 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds.
For the Legends, Dorsey scored 39 points. Additionally, McKinley Wright IV finished with 17 points, 14 assists, and 7 rebounds. Jaden Hardy scored 25 points in total. On Tuesday, November 22 at 8:00 PM on ESPN+, the Lakeland Magic (3-4) will play another road game against the Texas Legends.
