The NBA game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks will take place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 20 at 7:30 PM ET.
The Philadelphia 76ers will welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to the Wells Fargo Center for an NBA game on Thursday. The 76ers lost the season opener 126-117 to the Boston Celtics. Even though they lost, their big name players delivered. James Harden top scored with 35 points and 8 rebounds and 7 assists while Joel Embiid dropped 26 points and had 15 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey added 21 points as the 76ers lost on opening night.
Jalen Rose believes that this current 76ers team will go straight to the Eastern Conference Finals. Speaking on Jalen & Jacoby, Rose said, “Joel Embiid who just led the league in scoring last year is gonna be uber dominant again this year. James Harden, who is a great facilitator and who is extremely determined, will likely demonstrate his ability to score more effectively, as he did after losing weight.
He continued, “Tyrese Maxey’s rise to prominence as a shooter of open threes and his quickness in transition. Additionally, a seasoned player like Tobias Harris will provide them with strength and competitiveness up front. Simply said, I believe they are a strong, deep squad. I think the Sixers will go to the Conference Finals since they have a team.”
For the Milwaukee Bucks, this will be their first game this season and they will look to start off on the right note given they had a dismal preseason. The Bucks lost all the five games in preseason and looked disjointed.
Much will depend on how Giannis Antetokounmpo performs for them this season. The Greek Freak had a good run with Greece in the EuroBasket tournament and will look to carry on his good form. He was immense for the Bucks last season and along with his team will look to repeat the heroics of 2021 when they won the NBA title.

Milwaukee Bucks: Jrue Holiday, Jevon Carter, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez
