The Oklahoma City Thunder will head into their third NBA Summer League game to face off against the Orlando Magic at the Thomas & Mack Center on July 11. This matchup is certainly going to be interesting as it will feature the top 2 draft picks of this year.

The OKC Thunder is coming into this game on the back of a disappointing 90-88 loss to the Houston Rockets. Jalen Williams starred for the team as he scored 15 points on 58.3% shooting from the field. Australian point guard, Josh Giddey had another stellar performance where he put up 14 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. All eyes were on the rivalry between Chet Holmgren and Jabari Smith Jr. during the game. Smith had a block on Holmgren, but the number two pick made his presence felt. He scored 12 points and also contributed with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Despite their best efforts, they fell short of victory in front of a resilient Rockets team.

Orlando, on the other hand, is coming into the game on the back of a double-overtime win against the Sacramento Kings. The number one overall pick shined as he scored 23 points, while also contributing with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks. His impact on both ends of the floor proved to be decisive as the Magic went on to grab a 94-92 win. Heading into this game, he will be hoping to get the better of his rival Holmgren, who will try and bring in his best against the number one overall pick.
