The game between the OKC Thunder vs Los Angeles Clippers will take place at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00 PM ET.
Thursday night’s NBA game at the Paycom Center features another collision between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. After being shocked by the Thunder in a 108-94 away loss on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Clippers have been stuck in a rut and are now trying to avoid a third straight loss. Ivica Zubac and Robert Covington each scored 10 points, while Luke Kennard scored 15 points off the bench to lead the squad. John Wall contributed just 12 points.
The Clippers struggled without their best players and immediately fell behind after scoring only 18 points in the opening quarter, shooting only 42 percent from the floor and 10 of 31 from beyond the arc. The Clippers lost by as much as 26 points in the second half after giving up 35 points in the third quarter. Players like Reggie Jackson and Norman Powell combined for just nine points on four of seventeen shots, making it impossible for them to make up the deficit.
The Oklahoma City Thunder, meanwhile, had a three-game losing streak to begin the season, but after defeating the Clippers on Tuesday, they will be seeking another triumph. Tre Mann and Aaron Wiggins both contributed, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander taking the lead with 33 points and eight assists on 11 of 22 shooting. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also scored 25 points.
The Thunder only managed to shoot four of 30 three-pointers and just 38 percent of the field as a team, but their defense was excellent as they forced the Clippers into 18 turnovers while making just five of their own. As he made only one of his eleven shots, Luguentz Dort had a terrible night, scoring just four points.
