The OKC Thunder will welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to Paycom Center for an NBA game on Tuesday. The Thunder were beaten in their last game by the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-106. Luguentz Dort top scored for OKC with 20 points Jeremiah Robinson-Earl added 15. Tre Mann and Josh Giddey 10 points each as the Thunder fell to their third straight defeat.
Thunder coach Mark Daigneault was full of praise for the Timberwolves and credited them for going after his team once they sensed they were vulnerable. Speaking after the game, he said, “When you smell blood there, you’ve got to keep going, and credit them, they bounced back and went and got the game.”
The LA Clippers on the other hand lost their last game 112-95 to the Phoenix Suns. Marcus Morris scored 22 points while Paul George added 16 points of his own. John Wall and Kawhi Leonard came off the bench and dropped 17 and 11 points respectively. The duo are managing their load and are being eased back into the starting lineup.
After the game, Kawhi Leonard spoke to the press and said, “We got some room to grow. I didn’t like how some of the times we weren’t in the flow, the offense was very stagnant to me, and we got to get better on the defensive end by rebounding the basketball.”
