Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic will welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers to Amway Center for an NBA game on Tuesday. The Orlando Magic won 128-102 in their last game over the Pistons. Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. had 14 points and nine rebounds each before sitting out the fourth quarter Sunday night in the Orlando Magic’s 128-102 rout of the Detroit Pistons.

Jalen Suggs led eight Orlando players in double figures with 18 points, and Cole Anthony added 17 points and six rebounds for the Magic, who shot 57.3% and made 17 of 33 3-point shots. It was the fifth win in six games for the Magic, who are trying to finish the season on a high note despite not making the playoffs for the ninth time in 11 years.

“We feel the energy, we feel the buzz,” said Suggs, who made four of six 3-pointers. “Just around town, everyone is saying how excited they are, how they love what we’re doing. Things like that are refreshing.” “We have a lot of weapons on this team,” said Anthony. “When we get out there and just play selflessly, it’s fun.” Franz Wagner finished with 16 points and eight assists and a plus-minus of plus-33 for Orlando.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers on the other hand won 115-105 against the Pacers in their last game. All-Star Donovan Mitchell scored 40 points and Evan Mobley had 14 points and 16 rebounds as the playoff-bound Cleveland Cavaliers pulled away late for a 115-105 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night. Darius Garland added 20 points and six assists for Cleveland, which reduced its magic number to one for clinching home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

The Cavaliers won for the 31st time in 40 games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. “It’s great to be in this position, but we have stuff to prove in the playoffs,” Mitchell said. “The big thing for me is we’re bringing that energy and that vibe to the city. We have expectations. We’re here to win.” Mitchell became the first Cleveland player with three straight 40-point games and extended his franchise record for such games in a season to 12.

He scored 17 points in the third quarter and 21 in the second half. “Donovan has been great all season, but it’s crazy with those records he’s setting with the 40-point games,” Mobley said. “He comes to work every day with a great attitude, and we’re lucky to have him.”
