Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers will welcome the Sacramento Kings to Crypto.com Arena for an NBA game on Friday. The Los Angeles Clippers won 107-116 in their last game over the Suns. Paul George and Terance Mann each scored 26 points and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Phoenix Suns 116-107 on Thursday night in the final NBA game before the All-Star break.

Kawhi Leonard added 16 points, all in the second half, and nine rebounds. Ivica Zubac and Eric Gordon each scored 13 points and Zubac had 12 rebounds. The Clippers go into the break with wins in their last two games as they adjust to a new lineup rotation. Recent acquisitions Gordon, Bones Hyland and Mason Plumlee all played important roles in the victory. They combined for 30 points and 10 rebounds and were a collective 11 for 11 from the foul line.

“The new guys came in and just plugged right in as if we started the season,” George said. “We played great team basketball. The squad shared it and got stops as we needed to. “We got everything we need. And we just have to bring that all together and find an identity that can carry us.” Leonard missed all eight of his shots in the first half but was 5 of 10 after that and made all six of his free-throw tries. “I just made shots,” Leonard said abut the difference. “You just gotta keep pushing.”

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings on the other hand lost 120-109 against the Suns in their last game. De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 35 points, following up his 36-point performance in a win over Dallas on Saturday. “We just had too many unforced errors and going up against a team like that you can’t do that,” Fox said. “They capitalized on just about every error that we made today.”

Domantas Sabonis had 24 points and 15 rebounds — going 10 for 10 from the free-throw line — and Kevin Huerter scored 18 for Sacramento, which saw its lead over Phoenix in the Pacific Division shrink to one game. Chris Paul had a season-high 19 assists and scored 17 points for Phoenix, which has won 11 of its last 14. Josh Okogie scored 19 points and made a team-high three 3-pointers.
