Jose Alvarado came off the bench to top score for the Pels with 38 points. Zion Williamson dropped 25 points while Jonas Valanciunas, Trey Murphy III and Willy Hernangomez scored 13, 12 and 12 points respectively as New Orleans won their 15th game of the season.
The Detroit Pistons on the other hand beat the Miami Heat 116-96 in their last game. Bojan Bogdanovic top scored for Detroit with 31 points while Alec Burks came off the bench to score 18 points. Saddiq Bey dropped 14 points as the Pistons registered just their seventh win of the season.
