The Toronto Raptors upset the Chicago Bulls 127-120 in overtime on Thursday night, with Pascal Siakam scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and Chris Boucher adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Scottie Barnes had 21 points, including the game-winning goal with 1:44 remaining in overtime, and Gary Trent Jr. added a game-winning 3-pointer with 16 seconds left.

Trent scored 16 points, putting a stop to his five-game 30-point run. Toronto won their fourth consecutive game overall and stopped a five-game losing run versus the Bulls, thanks to 21 points from Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby.

Chicago’s Zach LaVine said, “They out-physicalled us throughout the whole game.”

The Raptors attempted 113 field goals, while the Bulls attempted 90. In addition, the Raptors collected 22 offensive rebounds to Chicago’s ten.

The Raptors scored 22 points as a result of Chicago’s 17 turnovers.

Bulls center Nikola Vucevic said, “It’s difficult because they have guys that have a lot of length and agility. They move really well and they cover a lot of space. Obviously tonight, turnovers and then the offensive glass, we didn’t do a good job on that end.”

With 30 points and 18 rebounds, Vucevic tied his season-best and recorded his ninth double-double in ten games.

Against his previous club, DeMar DeRozan scored 28 points. The Bulls, who entered as the Eastern Conference leaders, were led by Coby White (16 points), Zach LaVine (15 points), Javonte Green (13 points), and Ayo Dosunmu (11 points).
