Myles Turner, the big man of Indiana Pacers, is sidelined for at least two weeks after he started experiencing soreness in his ankle and foot on Monday night ahead of the game against Los Angeles clippers. In an announcement made by the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday afternoon stated that Turner has been Suffering from a stress reaction in his left foot.

After several tests specialists determined that Turner will receive treatment for his left foot and will be sidelined and after two weeks of treatment he will be re-assessed.

According to reports of ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Turner’s return might possibly be after the NBA’S trade deadline which is on February 10.

According to Micheal Scottie of Hoops Hype young player and first round picks are in talks for the trade of Turner which could be a great call if Turner’s injury is a short term issue.

Malcolm Brogdon has also joined injury list for the Pacers which is bothersome due to his Achilles injury which has kept him in and out of the starting lineup.

The NBA’S Trade is just around the corner and Turner has been mentioned as the target ahead of the deadline as per the reports the Pacers are open to trade.

Teams like New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets are interested Turner as part of the trade.

It’s interesting to see whether the injury could ward of some teams as his injury return is not yet confirmed as of now.

The possibility is also there that Indiana might not trade Turner and wait for the Offseason by the time where Turner is fully healed from his foot injury and is ready to go which could up his trade value towards the end of the off season.

The stats, averages and the value he brings on the defensive end of the court is unmatchable because of which he has gained more attention on the trade market and his injury might just hinder the chances of Turner going high in the market as a result pacers might not trade him.
