Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks will welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to Fiserv Forum for an NBA game on Thursday. The Bucks won 124-115 in their last game over the Hornets. Khris Middleton is making the most of his limited minutes as he works his way back from injuries that kept him from playing for much of the season.

Middleton scored 18 points and sparked a third-quarter run that put the Milwaukee Bucks ahead for good as they beat the Charlotte Hornets 124-115 on Tuesday night for their fifth straight victory. “Right now I’m trying to be as aggressive as I can,” Middleton said. “I know it sounds simple or whatever, but that’s just the mindset I’m trying to come up with, especially with my limited minutes. Hopefully as my minutes keep going (up), I keep the same mindset, because it’s been working.”

The Bucks withstood a triple-double from Charlotte’s LaMelo Ball, who had 27 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points and 18 rebounds to help the Bucks avenge one of their most embarrassing losses of the season. Jrue Holiday added 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers on the other hand won 103-108 against the Bulls in their last game. Kawhi Leonard scored 33 points and Norman Powell added 27 to help the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Chicago Bulls 108-103 on Tuesday night. Paul George added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, who’ve won six of seven.

Nikola Vucevic had 23 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Bulls, who dropped the first of a four-game homestand. DeMar DeRozan added 20 points and Zach LaVine finished with 18 points and 14 boards. Los Angeles led 85-84 after three quarters and never trailed in the fourth but couldn’t shake the Bulls until the final seconds. With the Clippers ahead 106-103, Leonard stole the ball from LaVine and made both free throws with 5.2 seconds left to close the door.

“That’s the reason we’ve been winning, because our defense has picked it up and carried us,” George said. “I think we caught our rhythm because of our defense and were able to stay in the game.” Los Angeles had 15 steals as it forced 20 turnovers overall by Chicago, two off the Bulls’ worst mark of the season.
