The Milwaukee Bucks will welcome the Charlotte Hornets to Fiserv Forum for an NBA game on Friday. The Bucks won 101-104 in their last game over the Raptors. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 30 points, 10 assists and a season-high 21 rebounds for his second triple-double of the season, Grayson Allen hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 11.6 seconds to go in overtime and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Toronto Raptors 104-101 on Wednesday night.
Antetokounmpo, who scored a career-high 55 points Tuesday night against Washington, came in having posted at least 40 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in each of his past three games. “On a back-to-back, he used a lot of energy both last night and tonight,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “They (Toronto) are very physical. For him to find a way to get us over the top was huge.”
The Hornets on the other hand lost 107-131 against the Grizzlies in their last game. LaMelo Ball had 23 points and 12 assists and Terry Rozier added 21 points for the Hornets, who’ve lost 14 of 17 games.
Morant is a South Carolina native whose family lives about 90 minutes from Charlotte — and plenty of them make the trek to Spectrum Center to watch him play. “I had a lot of people come here and support me, as you could hear when I run out of the tunnel or if I score,” Morant said. “It’s definitely love here. I’m happy every time I get to come back and it’s even better when you win.”
