Despite suffering a season-high 19 turnover losses, the home team won thanks to a strong fourth-quarter effort. Mexico City shot at a 71% clip (67% outside) in the fourth with 8 of 9 active players on the board to create a double-digit hole and win the first of a two-game stand. In the first three quarters, there were nine lead changes between the two teams as they maintained a nine-point margin. Texas had a double lead in the third quarter, but Gary Clark’s three-pointer gave the Capitanes the last advantage of the game.

With 26 points and 5 rebounds, Jaden Hardy led the way for the Legends, and Tyler Dorsey chipped in with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Yudai Baba contributed the last double-digit effort with 10 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals after Grant Riller scored 12 points off the bench.

Clark had the lone double-double of the contest with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Jahlil Okafor chipped in with 17 points and 6 rebounds, and Mason Jones contributed 22 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. The two teams will square off once more on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT.
