The Portland Trail Blazers come into the season after missing out on the playoffs during their last campaign. Damian Lillard looked short of his best as he was playing through an abdominal injury. However, halfway through the season, he decided to have surgery and he is now expected to be back at his potential best. With his return, the Trail Blazers will be expected to give tough competition in the West. Although they do not look as star-studded as the other franchises, the Blazers have some exciting young talent, who they can very well rely on.

Their opponents for the game, Ra’anana are a team coming from Israel. In their game against the LA Clippers, they were bested from the word go. Even with coach Ty Lue deciding to give his stars Paul; George and Kawhi Leonard a rest for the game, the Western Conference side didn’t seem to have any trouble in dismantling the Israeli side’s defense. A Morse was the only player from Maccabi who seemed to get going. He added 20 points and also grabbed 7 rebounds on the night. However, his effort alone was not enough as the Clippers eased their way to a 121-81 win.
