Josh Christopher scored 15 points while Eric Gordon and Alperen Şengün scored 13 points each.

In a rather disappointing turn of events, Jabari Smith who had a great preseason debut will be sidelined with a left ankle sprain. Assistant coach John Lucas said that the injury occurred on the last play of Wednesday’s practice. He said, “I would say it was more precautionary. We’ll wait to see how the ankle responds.”

On the other hand, the Toronto Raptors are having a great preseason as they won their last two matches with the Boston Celtics, their latest scalp. The Raptors beat the Celtics 125-119 and will be primed to take on the Rockets who also won their last game.

The Raptors saw their entire team contribute as Josh Jackson, Precious Achiuwa and Pascal Siakam scored 13 while Jeff Dowtin, Khem Birch and OG Anunoby dropped 10 points each. It will be interesting to see how Toronto will line up in this match as the season draws near.
