Los Angeles Lakers player and NBA All-Star Anthony Davis had a very tough last season as he was injured for most of it and did not feature in many games and as a result of that, the Lakers had one of their worst seasons ever. The Lakers finished in 11th place behind the San Antonio Spurs and as a result of that did not even feature in the play-in tournament and missed the playoffs for the seventh time out of the last nine years. It was quite a fall from grace for a team that boasted the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.

Anthony Davis was crucial in 2020 title win

Davis was a crucial cog in the Lakers engine room when they won the NBA Championship in 2020 in the bubble. It could be argued that Davis was more important than LeBron for that particular team. But Davis has not been very lucky when it comes to injuries as he only appeared in 40 games last season and played in 76 games over the last two seasons. In a video posted on Twitter, David revealed that he had not shot a basketball since April 5th. “I haven’t shot a basketball since maybe like April 5th,” Davis said in a video posted on Friday.

The Laker Nation was not happy and took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
