Detroit Pistons will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in another round of NBA action on November 4 at Little Caesars Arena. The 6-1 Cleveland Cavaliers are the next opponent in the Pistons’ grueling week of competition. With two All-Star guards in Darius Garland and Donavan Mitchell and two of the best rim protectors in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, Cleveland presents a particularly difficult test. After two consecutive defeats to Milwaukee, the Pistons will need to regroup before this game. As they make their move toward the top of the Eastern Conference, Cleveland is coming off a thrilling 114-113 victory over the Boston Celtics.
How Cade Cunningham recovers from a lackluster performance on Wednesday night will be one plot to follow. On Wednesday night, Cunningham struggled against the Bucks as they made it challenging for him to make his favored mid-range jump shot. It’s reasonable to assume that Cunningham will use his size to his advantage against the smaller Garland and Mitchell, but it will be challenging for him to finish at the rim given that Cleveland boasts some of the league’s top shot blockers. Cunningham has to get rolling quickly so he can maintain it for the whole of the game.

How Isaiah Stewart connects with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen is a different plot to watch. Beef Stew will have his work cut out for him when it comes to grabbing rebounds near the hoop and converting at the rim. Marvin Bagley or Jalen Duren would typically be in the lineup to counter Allen and Mobley, but with both of those players out, the Pistons will have to rely on Nerlens Noel to assist Stewart in the paint.

Cleveland Cavaliers: Caris Levert, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Dean Wade, Jarrett Allen
