The Denver Nuggets will welcome the Miami Heat to Ball Arena for an NBA game on Friday. The Nuggets lost 127-126 in their last game over the Kings. Nikola Jokic scored 40 points for Denver but missed a 3-pointer at the top of the key as time expired.
“Sacramento played really well,” Jokic said. “It was not just one guy. We couldn’t stop a couple of them. The Nuggets played without Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown. They had their five-game winning streak snapped.
The Heat on the other hand won 112-98 against the Mavericks in their last game. Jimmy Butler scored 27 points, Bam Adebayo added 23 points and 14 rebounds and the Heat moved over .500 by topping the Los Angeles Lakers 112-98 on Wednesday night.
Miami led the Lakers 31-2 in points off turnovers, after forcing 26 while committing only six despite being without point guard Kyle Lowry — who was out for personal reasons. “Certainly, the ball control was a big positive tonight,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.
