The 2022 Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain is also known as the 2022 Cayman Islands Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain for sponsorship reasons. It is a multi-event, one-make motor racing championship held across England and Scotland. The championship featured a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, competing in Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars. The 2020 season was the 1st Porsche Sprint Challenge GB season, the season began on 11 July 2020 at Snetterton Circuit and ended on 8 November at Silverstone Circuit.
The 2022 season started with Silverstone GP moving to Thruxton for the next race. The third race of the year will be held at Croft Circuit, North Yorkshire this week. The fourth race of the season will be held at Oulton Park and will be followed by Brands Hatch GP. The last race of the season will be hosted at Donington Park GP.
The weekend for Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain is not very long and busy but short and brief. Action starts on Saturday with only one qualifying session on the day that starts at 20:30 pm. On Sunday we have two racing events, one starting at 17:15 pm and the other one at 20:24 pm.
