Professional Fighters League (PFL) is set to make its debut in San Antonio, Texas, on August 4, with an action-packed playoff event featuring semifinal matchups in the featherweight and light heavyweight divisions. The announcement was made by the PFL through an official press release, generating excitement among MMA fans.

The main event will showcase a featherweight clash between top-seeded veteran Bubba Jenkins and Jesus Pinedo. Jenkins, a seasoned fighter, aims to secure a spot in the PFL Featherweight Championship finals and claim his first title along with the coveted million-dollar purse. Pinedo, on the other hand, seeks to build upon his recent upset victory over the 2022 PFL Featherweight Champion, Brendan Loughnane, in early June.
