Colorado swept San Diego at home over the weekend to get some momentum coming into this road trip. The Rockies entered Tuesday in last place in the NL West, 11 games behind the Dodgers and Padres, who were tied for first place. C.J. Cron (two runs, RBI) led Colorado with three hits on Sunday, while Elias Diaz (run, three RBI) added two. The Rockies won because to home runs from Diaz (his third) and Randal Grichuk (his ninth). On the mound, Antonio Senzatela (3-3) earned the victory after pitching six innings and allowing one run on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts before giving way to the bullpen.
