Shrikant Jadhav, who hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a professional kabaddi athlete from India, born on September 17, 1995. In 2016, Shrikant Jadhav embarked on his professional kabaddi journey, debuting in the third season of the Pro Kabaddi League as a member of the Bengal Warriors team. Known as a formidable raider within the league, Jadhav’s toe touch has become his trademark on the court. Presently, he competes for the UP Yodha squad in the current Pro Kabaddi season.

Originating from a village where kabaddi and wrestling reign as the primary sports, Shrikant began his engagement with kabaddi during his school years, participating in school-level tournaments and local district competitions. Despite financial constraints, he remained committed to his kabaddi practice, eventually gaining local acclaim for his sporting accomplishments. An advocate for physical fitness, Shrikant Jadhav is dedicated to his workout regimen. He often shares glimpses of his fitness routine through pictures and videos on social media platforms, where he also promotes nutritional supplements.

Shrikant Jadhav’s sporting influence extends beyond the Pro Kabaddi League; he is also a player on the Indian national kabaddi team. His role in kabaddi is highlighted by his swift raiding abilities and his status as one of the league’s premier raiders. Off the court, he is employed by Central Railways in Mumbai, Maharashtra. During his school days, specifically in the ninth grade, Jadhav relocated from Ahmednagar to Mumbai. By the age of 18, he had earned a spot on the Maharashtra state kabaddi team and competed in national-level events.

His achievements on the state stage opened the door for professional kabaddi training at the Sports Authority of India facility in Kandivali, Mumbai. After a challenging two-year period in domestic tournaments, Shrikant Jadhav joined the Jaipur Pink Panthers for the Pro Kabaddi League’s second season. In his third stint with the Bengal Warriors, he notched up 10 raid points across five matches but an unfortunate shoulder injury sidelined him for nearly a year.

Upon his return, Jadhav played the fourth season with the Bengal Warriors, but with only seven raid points in five matches, the team released him. He then found new footing with U Mumba in the league’s fifth season, marking a personal improvement with 86 raid points from 19 matches. The sixth and seventh seasons of the league saw Shrikant play for UP Yoddha, where he racked up 141 and 148 raid points respectively. He continued with the same squad in the eighth season of the Pro Kabaddi League in 2021. Most recently, in October 2023, he participated in the National Railways championships held in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and secured a bronze medal for his performance.
