Bharat Hooda is a professional Kabaddi player who represents India internationally and the Bengaluru Bulls in the Pro Kabaddi League. He is renowned for his prowess as a raider. He made his first appearance in the PKL in season eight. For his sensational performance in season 9, he was honored with the green band. Bharat was born on October 30, 2000, in the Kiloi Khas, in Rohtak, Haryana. He pursued his education at the Sheetal Sports Sr. Secondary School in Kiloi, Rohtak. His coach is Randhir Singh Sehrawat.

He began playing Kabaddi at a young age and was an active participant in Kabaddi competitions during his school years. He honed his Kabaddi skills at the Deepak Niwas Hooda Academy. His entry into the Pro Kabaddi League came in its eighth season, representing Bengaluru Bulls. In that season, he achieved 129 raid points and 14 tackle points. He continued with Bengaluru Bulls as he was signed for Rs 20 lakh in the league’s next auction. In this season, he impressively scored 279 raid points, including 11 super raids, and was honored with the ‘Best Raider of the Tournament’ award.

In 2021, Bharat Hooda competed in the Haryana State Senior Kabaddi Championship, where he earned 20 raid points in three games. He also played for the Deepak Niwas Hooda Foundation team in the 2021 K7 Kabaddi Stage Up, competing against Narwal Kabaddi & Sports Academy. His performance led his team to a 27-point triumph over Narwal Kabaddi & Sports. In 2022, Hooda participated in the All India Pro Kabaddi Tournament and played an important role, contributing to his team’s victory and earning the top spot in the competition.
