The Haryana Steelers will be looking to get back into winning ways after playing out a 24-24 tie against U Mumba on Tuesday. The Haryana team is set to take on Bengal Warriors in Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 on Friday. The Steelers’ defender Ravi Kumar feels that the team’s combination worked well in their previous match. He added, “We attained a lot of confidence after our last match against U Mumba. In the matches prior to our last match, we played well in the first half, but our performance was up and down in the second half. However, in the match versus U Mumba, we played well and stayed in the contest in the second half as well. Our combination worked well in the last game.”

Kumar added that the Haryana side will have to strengthen its defense unit a bit more. “In the dying minutes of the match, we managed to catch up with U Mumba and therefore we have taken a lot of confidence from that match. Vikash Kandola pulled off a couple of raids in the last one and a half minutes of the game. I feel that we have to strengthen our defense unit a little bit more in our upcoming matches,” he explained.
