Phase one of the Pro Kabaddi League got underway on October 7, 2022, at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. Season nine of the league will be played in three phases. Pune’s Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex and Hyderabad are the venues where the second and third phases will be staged. Dabang Delhi defeated Patna Pirates in the season 8 PKL final to win the championship the previous season with a thrilling 37-36 victory.
Gujarat Giants will square off against U Mumba in the first match on October 26 in Pro Kabaddi League 2022. In their last match, Gujarat defeated Haryana Steelers by 42-38 while U Mumba lost 32-42 to Bengaluru Bulls.
