The Shriners Children’s Open 2022 is scheduled to be held from October 3 to October 9, 2022 in TPC Summerlin, Las Vegas. It is a professional golf tournament that attracts many of the world’s top golfers to compete and earn FedExCup points and supports its namesake. The Open is also referred to as Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The competition is the third event of the FedExCup PGA TOUR season.
The Open was founded in 1983 and is hosted at the picturesque TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. The course has also been named “One of America’s Best Golf Courses” by Golf Digest magazine. With a $8 million purse, the event features some of the most well-known stars in golf each year. The USA’s Tiger Woods won his first PGA TOUR title here in 1996. The past champions include Greg Norman, Davis Love III, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Webb Simpson, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Cantlay, Kevin Na, and Sungjae Im (2021).
