The Pelican Women’s Championship 2022 will be held from November 10 to November 13 in Belleair, Florida in the United States of America. The Pelican Women’s Championship makes its third appearance, following its debut in 2020.  Nelly Korda is the defending champion, having won a four-way playoff against Kim, Lydia Ko, and Lexi Thompson last year in a spectacular fashion. It is the last competition before the CME Group Tour Championship, which will conclude the season the following week.

This season, 25 different players have been declared as the winner. The LPGA achieved a record of 26 winners in a season in 1991 and 2018. The figure indicates the tour’s rapidly increasing representation. Dryburgh tied the LPGA record set in 1995 by winning the Rolex First-Time event last week in Japan, becoming the 11th champion this season. A new winner would make the year 2022 a record-breaking year for the tour.
